Daily summary report 25 March 2013

COERR working day summary: Protection sector
           - COERR MHS team together with 10 youth volunteer (6 from s. 2, 3 from s.3, 1 from s.1) who are volunteer to work with COERR to visit idividual families who located at open space to identified new EVI and SC and to visit and searching for exisiting EVI and SC for their situation.

           - We can found Total 57 EVIs (30 EVIs adult and 27 UASC) most of UASC found today is separated children living with relative, they living in UN tent at original home location. For EVI adult most are E and SP most are living in UN tent at Check Point compoud .

           - One existing Elderly case severe injured refer to Mae Hong Son hospital

           - We identified a new SP case who lost her husband and now living with 7 children which the olest children is 12 year old. (priority for temporary shelter in sect.3) • NGR MEH-E/PD who now living alot in UNHCR tent, need to be move to better place . (priority for temporary shelter in sect.3)

Coordiantion meeting summarize
    Shelter
           - High school number 2 in section 3 ready to take 25 families
           - Capacity of football ground can take 75 famiies but now can finish the shelter only for 25 families
           - Concern people don’t want to move to tmporary shelter in section 3 beause in the section 4 is near to distribution of Thai Authorities so that they are prefer to stay close to the distribution center.
           - All the other services (food, clothes distribution etc) will move to only one distribution center in section 3

     Health
              • Concerns: Confusion about where to go to get non-food items because different locations
                   - No distribution from non-food items at different places any more, only at the church and temporary side in section 3 from now on.
                   - Distribution system will be review with Camp committee, knrc and CBOs by COERR and supported by UNHCR
                   - Standard Package for families will be consider

              • Concerns: Health risk due to composting animals
                    - Dead animals should be removed as soon as possible

     Non-food items:
              • Concerns: Confusion about where to go to get non-food items because different locations
                   - No distribution from non-food items at different places any more, only at the church and temporary side in section 3 from now on.
                   - Distribution system will be review with Camp committee, knrc and CBOs by COERR and supported by UNHCR
                   - Standard Package for families will be considered

              • Concerns: Many children without shoes
                   - Slippers will be provided as soon as possible

     Food:
              • Concerns: food is already bad when it arrives camp

              • Concerns: too much garbage from outsiders
                   - Take garbage home
